We’ve been busy working on a number of different kaupapa this year, big and small, and we wanted to share two favourites.

NZ Drug Foundation

With two staff members away, Social Good provided step-in support to NZ Drug Foundation. We helped with with content creation, managing their online community and refining their digital strategy.

Our favourite thing was creating a viral TikTok for their harm reduction channel, The Level. We wanted to take away some of the security/safety fears of drug checking so viewers knew what to expect.

Our concept was a first-person walk-through of a drug check. We wrote the script, the team at NZ Drug captured the video clips, we edited it & provided the voice over.

Once posted on TikTok, it went crazy! It reached a huge local audience but it also went global where this sort of harm reduction isn’t available. The Social Good team provided community management, answering hundreds of questions and it is still the most viewed video on their TikTok. The positive feedback was incredibly validating for the hard mahi NZ Drug Foundation do.

Natures Therapeutics

We’re not usually in the business of product promotion but when the kaupapa aligns, we are in! Natures Therapeutics is a pakihi Māori selling beautiful, locally made rongoā Māori and other skincare products. They had done really well during Covid but now needed to get their products seen by even more people.

Social Good created a digital strategy, did content planning, content creation and partnered with Squid to deliver a growth and sales campaign. An important kaupapa for us is delivering training and support so pakihi like this can be equipped with all the tools and knowledge they need to keep the marketing going once we’ve finished our mahi together. We delivered training to Natures Therapeutics and we can already see them putting into practice the things we did together!

As for the sales? They continue to grow and we wish Gordan and the awesome team at Natures Therapeutics all the best as they become more established in Aotearoa and abroad.
