Workshops and Training
Katie Brown is a trained Community Trainer for Meta in New Zealand and as part of this, has supported Meta / Facebook in delivering workshops across Aotearoa including:
- A partnership between Facebook and Whariki, the Māori Business Network, delivered 7 training sessions to Māori in business. These free workshops were created to increase the digital capability for Māori in business across Aotearoa. Over 350 people were trained in Auckland, Whangarei, Rotorua, Hamilton, Wellington and Te Wai Pounamu (the South Island).
- A partnership between Tourism Aotearoa, delivered 2 training sessions to tourism businesses to prepare them as Aotearoa opened back up for tourism. These were delivered in tourist hubs, Queenstown and Rotorua.
